Vogue photographer and contributor Lili Kobielski recently captured international street style model and fashion icon Lily Gatins (@lilygatins) wearing luxury designer David's Road Couture Cape in the illuminance of one of the world's most exciting art premieres.
Creative director and stylist Lily Gatins, an artist, model and street style muse born in the Dominican Republic, was spotted by Kobielski at Art Basel, a highly anticipated art show featuring work from thousands of globally renowned artists, in the heart of Miami, Florida.
What better way to experience a showcase of intricately constructed artwork than by wearing it? After the audience spent a portion of the night viewing the award-winning art pieces at Art Basel in Miami, the event shifted into a celebration and, rather than gazing at art from afar, Lily Gatins decided to wear art as well. The David's Road Couture Cape, constructed of weatherproof raincoat material to reflect and refract light, is designed to add couture elegance to any upscale evening event. Worn by Gatins, the Couture Cape is further elevated by dark, simple yet intricately designed jewelry on the model's hands, neck and ears to complement the flow of the work of art.
